The Air Jordan 18 (XVIII) Original (OG) Low - White / Chrome - University Blue - Metallic Silver were released on September 6, 2003. The feature a simple white leather upper with university blue secondary colors on the tongue, inner lining, and midsole, as well as chrome accents on the Jumpman logo. The vertical strip that runs down the tongue says “XVIII” which is roman numerals for the number “18″. The modified herringbone pattern on the outsole provides great traction and grip on the hardwood. Other features include a a hidden quick lace system, carbon comfort plate, , steel capped laces, full length Zoom Air insoles, as well as a second unit at the heel. They are great for basketball as they are highly comfortable and provide great traction. Unfortunately, the low top versions do not feature the cool looking vents on the sides.
